Blue Ribbon Community Care set up its first office in England in January 2009 after successfully operating its own Domiciliary Care Services (Calon Lan Community Care) in Wales since 2005. We took a break from recruiting new Franchisees to start a family but continued to operate successfully as a Franchise network. This is a Home Care Management Franchise opportunity. Home Care (Domiciliary Care) refers to the provision of regulated health or social care to people in their own homes. Other services include Live in Care, Companionship and Cleaning.
Owning a Franchise means being in business for yourself but not being by yourself. Blue Ribbon licences its brand and proven business systems to Blue Ribbon Franchisees. We have a team of support staff who will guide you to develop your business whilst ensuring quality standards are adhered to. This is especially helpful in the first few years of trading and gives you a distinct advantage over someone starting on their own.
We are looking for Franchisees to run their own Health & Social Care service. Although you do not need a background in care, we are looking for a high level of commitment to owning, operating and developing your business. A desire to deliver the best service possible and a willingness to strive for continuous improvement are other attributes we look for.
We base our territories on approximately 200,000 individuals living within a District or Local Authority area. This will be confirmed once you intend to proceed.
Yes, as long as a proper business plan has been created and that resources are available to run both territories effectively. We would look to see that you had reached certain levels of growth in your initial territory before committing to another area.

The Franchise Package Fee usually costs just £20,000 (exclusive of VAT).
Please note this excludes the working capital requirements for the business. The total investment required will be around £75 to £90k. This is subject to the requirements of a personalised business plan.

The Management Service Fee (MSF) is set at 4.75% which is subject to a performance related reduction (which will be revealed on application). This level of MSF ensures you get the support you need. We are not in the business of selling Franchise Packages, our long term goal is to recruit and support the very best Franchisees well into the future which can only be achieved through proper investment.
Yes of course. We can provide you with several options for financing your new venture. One in particular will also assist you to create a business plan and apply for funding.
You will be required to pay ‘the deposit’ of £2,000 when you have decided you would like to pursue the opportunity.
If you decide for whatever reason not to proceed with the Franchise Opportunity then the deposit is refundable, after the deduction of reasonable costs for territory research.
Your earnings will depend on your commitment to your business plan.
Yes. Once you have signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement and Intent to Proceed.
The Agreement is non-negotiable. We recommend that each potential Franchisee uses an experienced Franchise solicitor to check the agreement before they sign it.
The initial Agreement is for five years. The Franchise Agreement is renewable by the Franchisee at no additional charge.
Although every area is different, we would suggest 2 – 4 months as we work with you to complete your CQC registration, finalise the Business and Marketing plans, locate premises and recruit suitable staff.
This is not a home based business. Due to the nature of the operations and regulations a self contained suitable office space is necessary.
Of course. First we will require permission from our existing Franchisees. This will only be done after you have visited us and signed the Non-Disclosure Agreement. Our Franchisees are busy people and will only talk to individuals who have been approved by us.

We provide video conference calls, regular support visits, ‘Best Practice’ workshops, quarterly regional meetings and an annual conference to share ideas and experiences.
